How to type Multilingual Text
Suppose you are French and want to type some text in 3 other languages German, Greek and Russian. After installing these languages as described in the
keyboards
section, do the following:
1.
Open your favorite application program (consult the
Application Support
section to verify compatibility with OpenType fonts).
2.
Use OpenType fonts which support the specific languages (Parachute Pro fonts support all European languages).
3.
If you do not know how to type in these other languages consult the
keyboard layout
section. You may place the convenient international keyboard layout pop-up windows next to your favorite program. Use them as a reference while you type.
4.
Start typing. You can toggle between keyboards through the language palette which appears on the desktop’s menu bar or through a key sequence.

How to use Multilingual Text
You are an advertising agency and your next project is to design the packaging for a product which sells worldwide. Instructions must be written in many different languages. The marketing department sent you a PC Word file which contains the multilingual text using a default font such as Arial. How do you incorporate this text into your design? If you have decided to use Parachute Pro fonts, all you need to do is the following:
1.
Place/Import the Word file into your favorite program such as InDesign or Illustrator.
2.
Change fonts and Voila! You do not need to do anything else as long as you use OpenType fonts which support the specific languages (Parachute Pro fonts support all European languages). Please note that if you only need to use (copy/paste or change fonts) an existing multilingual text, you do not have to add or switch keyboards.
